The Appetite Momos, Thane, Mumbai

The Appetite Momos, Thane, Mumbai

I first had momos in Delhi some four years ago which was in 2014. I had gone shopping to Sarojini Nagar and I had heard that Delhi is famous for its momos, so I asked a cycle wala to give me a few, but after I ate one I felt some cashew nuttish taste in it (and i hate dry fruits when mixed with food 😑) so I just finished the other 4 pieces and decided that I will never have momos again. Going to this place made me nostalgic about my Delhi trip but it was an impromptu plan because we had to while away two hours so we decided to give it a try and then this place changed my view about momos.

Food - 8/10 . head in only if you like Momos or want to try them. Nahi bhi pasand toh cheese momos toh kha hi lena 😛. Yes non veg was available but don't ask me about it. I'm a vegetarian 😇

Diet friendly - not at all 😂

Ambience - 4/10 , the interiors are just normal, just that you'll find 2 bicycles under one table and one wall with good LED lighting to click your group pictures

Staff - 6/10 , I didn't interact much with the staff as I didn't go to order, but bechare ache hi honge, they might bother you if you're found sitting idle on the table without any Momos in front of you, lol no restaurant will allow you to sit like that but here as there are many people waiting to get a seat, you can't block a seat without having momos and just talking, so keep ordering slowly ek plate khao fir dusri mangwao.

Type - Hangout zone with friends

Spacious - Not much, you might have to share your table with other customers 😐. Unless you're seated with a group of friends not recommended for couples, so plan your visit accordingly

Music - the volume is pleasant to the ears, so even if you're alone you can sit and enjoy the music along with your momos and they play soft Bollywood music.

Easy to locate - Yes, it is quite near to the thane station and walkable

Value for money - yes

Pocket-friendly - yes (you'll find all the college going crowd there, so this is the best place to keep an eye on your friend or whatever and spread gossips)
