Ex Army officer undergoing Physiotherapy for recovery of Paralysis





On this festive occasion of Diwali, let us all light the lamp of hope and always be motivated to live a fit life. My patient Mr Rajendra Pawar, who is an ex army officer and has served our country at the border, suffered from Paralysis last month and here is how he fought against his paralysis, muscle weakness and gained back his muscle strength and tone with the help of Physiotherapy. He is back on his feet trying to become independent and get back to his routine life. Feel free to ask any queries. Shirshasana - The King of Asanas

Shirshasana - The King of Asanas. Shirsh means head, thus Shirshasana means standing on bead. Before performing this Asana one should follow proper instructions and know the precautions. Instructions - Keep a pillow under the head to rest the head on it while performing the Asana. Place your head on pillow and then interlock your fingers and place it behind your ahead. Get your body into the mountain pose and slowly get your waist in line with the head. Once the head and waist are in line, then lift the toes off the ground and get your whole body in one line. Maintain the Asana for 15 seconds. The timing can be slowly progressed up to 3 minutes only. To finish the Asana, slowly get down the legs on floor followed by waist and relax.
